Basketball Referee Registration

The EYO referee program provides support for the EYO recreational basketball program.  Referees will officiate the 2nd/3rd grade through High School basketball games.

Referees are trained to officiate basketball games using the NFHS basketball rule book.  All class participants will have to pass written and on-court exams.

Classes are conducted once per week beginning in October.

You must be in at least 8th grade to participate in the program.

The EYO umpire program provides an opportunity for boys and girls (13 and up) to increase their knowledge and love of the games of baseball and softball, to learn how to best interact with players, coaches, and fellow umpires, and earn some pretty good money.

Umpires work games in Howard County.  Games are played during the week and on the weekends.

Umpires only work when they are available.  We use scheduling software that allows umpires to block out the dates when they're not available.

If there are any questions about the Umpire Program, please contact Chris Jakubek at [email protected]
