2024 - 2025 EYO Lady Hurricanes Travel Softball

12U and 14U tryouts are closed and our teams have been formed.

The 2024-2025 Travel Season Will Consist of the Following:

• Two weekday evening practices per week from mid August to early November
• 12U Tuesdays and Thursdays
• 14U Mondays and Wednesdays
• Double-header games on some Saturdays in September and October. Games typically start around noon time.
• Participate in about four Saturday/Sunday tournaments.
• Games will be played against other Maryland Travel-B/C teams.
• All games and tournaments will be held around the DELMARVA region, with only "light" travel required.
• There may be be limited off season/winter practices indoors.
• Spring season starts with practices in early March.
• Spring games/tournaments typically go from mid April to July.
• The 14U team will have a lighter practice and game schedule in March/April to allow 9th graders to participate in both high school and travel softball.
• "Light" DELMARVA travel is still expected in the spring time, with overnight tournaments kept to a minimum.
• Cost estimate of $600 for fully customized and matching equipment and uniforms, which can be used for multiple seasons.
• Registration fees estimated to be about $500-$800 per season depending on the number of tournaments and other factors.
• Fundraising will be done to help offset the costs.
