EYO Organization

Established in 1957, Elkridge Youth Organization (EYO) provides our youth a nurturing environment to enrich their lives by playing organized sports.

 Mission Statement
Good sportsmanship is viewed by the Elkridge Youth Organization as a commitment to fair play, ethical behavior, and integrity. In perception and practice, sportsmanship is defined as those qualities, which are characterized by generosity and genuine concern for others. The ideals of sportsmanship apply equally to all sports. Individuals, regardless of their role in activities, are expected to be aware of their influence on the behavior of others and model good sportsmanship.

 Volunteers
EYO is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization. There are no paid positions in the organization; everyone is a volunteer. Help us to make EYO better, get involved. There are many positions available.

2009 EYO Golf Tournament Thank You's

The 2009 EYO Golf Tournament was held on May 1, 2009 at Timbers at Troy Golf Course.  132 golfers braved the drizzling weather to come out and chase the golf ball around the course.

This event is the only designated fund raiser for the EYO Scholarship fund, which allows deserving kids, who would otherwise not be able to play, to participate in the fantastic Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Basketball, and Tennis programs offered by EYO.  In these tough economic times, EYO makes good use of these scholarships and it allows these kids to enjoy the recreational league sports, and all the healthy benefits that go with it.

A huge thanks go to this year’s tournament sponsors, including:

Howard County Sports Center – Title Sponsor

Patuxent Engineering Group – 9-Hole Sponsor

Cindy’s Soft Serve – Golf Ball Sponsor

Bay Family Eyecare – Hole in One Sponsor

Dial Electronics – Putting Contest
