Elkridge Youth Organization, Inc - "EYO Sports"

EYO offers sports for every season of the year. We greet the spring weather with Baseball and Soccer which run into the start of summer. As we head into the cooler fall weather we offer Baseball and Soccer again.  And, when it finally gets too cold to play outdoors our indoor Basketball is a perfect fit.

About Our Organization

Established in 1957, Elkridge Youth Organization (EYO) provides our youth a nurturing environment to enrich their lives by playing organized sports.

Mission

Good sportsmanship is viewed by the Elkridge Youth Organization as a commitment to fair play, ethical behavior, and integrity. In perception and practice, sportsmanship is defined as those qualities, which are characterized by generosity and genuine concern for others. The ideals of sportsmanship apply equally to all sports. Individuals, regardless of their role in activities, are expected to be aware of their influence on the behavior of others and model good sportsmanship.

EYO believes that the pursuit of excellence in the areas of academics and sports helps develop maturity and self-confidence. We believe that the experiences a player has with EYO Sports will be beneficial throughout his/her lifetime.

Volunteers

EYO is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization. There are no paid positions in the organization; everyone is a volunteer. Help us to make EYO better, get involved. There are many positions available.

Offered Programs

Recreational: The primary objective of the Recreational program is to enable players to learn the game in a fun and stimulating environment. The focus is on developing their skills to help them be the best players they can be, while maintaining a healthy approach to competitive sports.

Travel: The Travel program for those players who want a more rigorous schedule and game schedule than recreational programs. Select travel is a one year commitment (both fall and spring).

Financial Assistance

It is our goal to be sure any child that wants to play our sports gets that opportunity. EYO has several ways in which we try and assist our families: Registration Fee Discounts, Equipment Assistance, Multi-Player Discounts.  To learn more, visit the More Information>> Financial Assistance & Discounts page.
