Majors League

To help prepare the players for the transition they will make at 13 years old, the base lengths are 70-feet, with a pitching distance of 50 feet.  In order to protect our pitchers and to encourage our coaches to train more pitchers, there are rules that limit the maximum number of innings a pitcher may pitch in a calendar week.  Regulation games consist of six innings or four innings if a game is called.  Special base running rules are also in effect.

A player evaluation will be held prior to the beginning of the spring season, most likely in mid-March.  All players will be evaluated and drafted for the purpose of creating teams of equal strength.  We will make every effort to accommodate parental requests for coaches and/or teammates after the draft has been completed. For details on how special draft situations are handled, please refer to the baseball policy guide and Major League rules.

In the SPRING, teams will play in the Howard County Baseball Alliance. Games are on Tuesdays and Saturdays with practices one night during the week.

In the FALL, games are on Saturdays, with practices one night during week (practice nights may vary).
